PEARL FISHERY COAST The Pearl Fishery Coast has a long history from the Sangarn Age to the twentieth century. Whoever ruled Tamil Nadu from the early Christian era to the end of the fifteenth century enjoyed monopoly over the pearl fisheries and the pearl trade was a link between the East and the West.
